What is the sampling frequency of the Sepam series 80?

The sampling frequency is dependent on the line frequency. The line frequency must be between 25 Hz and 65 Hz.

For measurements (apart from RMS and THD) and protection functions, the sampling frequency is 12 times of the line frequency:

• 600 Hz for a line frequency of less than 50 Hz.
• 606 Hz for a frequency of 50.5 Hz.
• 720 Hz for a line frequency of less than 60 Hz.

For RMS and THD measurements the sampling frequency is 36 times of the line frequency.
