Ask a Question

What is the maximum temperature allowed on the terminals of the NSX range of molded case circuit breakers MCCB?

Please see below figures showing the maximum temperature the NSX MCCB terminals can run at

NSX100/160/250 - 105 Degrees C
NSX400/630 - 110 Degrees C

However, it is recommend that the calculation is based on 70 Degree C cable as it is possible
that heat from the cable may flow into the circuit breaker and effect the thermal characteristic.
The multi core cable is normally glanded elsewhere and terminated at the circuit breaker as individual cores, which improves cooling.

NOTE: 90 degree cables are not permitted on these MCCB's
