What causes INFC (Internal-time meas.) fault on an ATV61 / ATV71 series drive?

Altivar 61 and Altivar 71 series drives.

All models, All serial numbers

Cause:
Information not available in current literature.

Resolution:
Internal time measuring fault (INFC) is an indication that a specific internal function of the drive has failed.  This is an internal failure of the drive and it should be repaired or replaced.  This fault can not be corrected by programming changes in the drive.
