Thomas Belaisch - Vice President Retail

    Professional Experience

Thomas joined Schneider Electric 10 years ago and started in Barcelona for Universal Enclosures, with the challenge of launching the offer in two huge countries: US and Brazil. He then moved to Grenoble and became responsible for the FD Business Development team for EMEAS, just at the time they were launching our Acti9 offer, which was substituting (in 60 countries) our iconic Multi9 offer. He was then offered the opportunity to move to Sao Paulo, Brazil, to become in-charge of the Retail Division for Latin America and Canada. In 2016, he joined Schneider Electric UK as VP of Retail as the Leadership team was re-organisated, paving the way for a more efficient and customer centric organisation.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Thomas worked 10 years in a small Electro-Mechanical French company in-charge of the creation and animation of the Export Department. Thanks to that role, He had the opportunity to be located in Israel for 3 years, and 2 years in both Argentina and Brazil. Being in charge of each region, it took him throughout all surrounding areas and provided a very powerful and rich experience.

    Interests

Travelling is definitively a big passion for me. I lived abroad and travelled a lot during my past 20 years. I also took, before joining Schneider, a sabbatical year travelling by myself and backpacking through India, Nepal, Tibet, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. This life experience was more than a trip but a true breakthrough in my life giving me the opportunity to meet people, enjoy the true luxury of having no deadline or time frame but just enjoying each second of an un-scheduled time.
