Schneider Electric takes to the phones for Sport Relief
Schneider Electric is delighted to have been selected as an official call centre for Sport Relief.
Throughout the evening of entertainment on 23 March 2012 employees, along with friends and family, will collect donations through the 60 dedicated fundraising lines at its Telford head office.
The company has an extensive customer services team, who are well placed to provide man-power support to Sport Relief. Lines to the public will be open at Schneider Electric from 7pm to midnight.
Paul Markham from Schneider Electric comments: “We’ve done fundraising for various charities before but it’s a first for us to be an official call centre and supporting the fundraising efforts in this way so we’re really thrilled to have been selected. While it’s a serious cause, we also plan to have fun so we’ll be in fancy dress on the night and have screens reporting the largest donation made through our call centre, which will be exciting to see.”
Schneider Electric will be tweeting with updates on the night. You can follow the live updates on the company’s Twitter account @schneideruk. Pictures from the evening will also be uploaded on our Facebook page.
