Can I place a TeSys U starter-controller downstream from a variable speed drive?
TeSys U controllers fitted with an LUCLxxxx control units are ideal for protecting drive/motor or starter/motor assemblies, but can only be installed upstream of the drive, not downstream.
If protection is required downstream of the drive, an LRD thermal overload relay must be used.
