How many LV cables can be connected to the phase and neutral terminals of Distribution Transformer?

The Fast Trans range of transformers which are liquid filled free breathing distribution transformers covers following kVA ratings and the number of Low Voltage cables that can be connected within the LV cable box varies for each rating as detailed below :-

315kVA     One single core cable per phase and one on the neutral ( 4 single core cables total)

500kVA     One single core cable per phase and one on the neutral ( 4 single core cables total)

800kVA     Two single core cables per phase and one on the neutral ( 7 single core cables total)

1000kVA   Two single core cables per phase and one on the neutral ( 7 single core cables total)

1250kVA    Two single core cables per phase and one on the neutral ( 7 single core cables total)

1500kVA    Three single core cables per phase and two on the neutral ( 11 single core cables total)

1600kVA    Three single core cables per phase and two on the neutral ( 11 single core cables total)

2000kVA    Four single core cables per phase and two on the neutral ( 14 single core cables total)

The above number of LV cables are the standard arrangement. If alternative cable arrangements be required this should be discussed at the time of transformer tendering.
