Can I have power factor correction capacitors inside Motorpact?

Yes, power factor correction capacitors can be incorporated into the Motorpact cubicle. They are usually located alongside the main contactor for: -

DOL starters
Auto transformer starters

They will normally be in a separate cubicle for softstarters aligned alongside the softstarter cubicle.

The size of capacitors will depend on the motor size and level of power factor correction required. The capacitors will be individually protected by HV fuses.
