                      Main Drivers
                      • Make savings controlling lighting consumption in the most simple way!

                      Solution in brief
                      • A simple yet efficient solution to optimise the lighting in buildings and offices using stand-alone electronics that provide simple automatisms based on three main parameters, alone or combined:
                        - time > timers devices
                        - intensity > dusks
                        - presence > movement detection

                      Value proposition
                      • Compared to a traditional manual switch , here are typical energy savings a customer can achieved:
                        - Timer: potential savings up to 50% (stair-case)
                        - Dusks: savings can reach 50% (especially if combined with timer)
                        - Presence detectors: savings can reach 90% (oudoor application)

                      Differentiation factors
                      • For advanced indoor presences detectors - office PIR and/or building automation PIR -, heating/ventilation can be adjusted accordingly.
                      • For outdoor pressences detectors, outdoor lighting is turned on only when needed: upon the detection of movement but also only when the ambient light level is below a preset level. A light sensor in the PIR prevents the light from turning on if the daylight level is high enough.

                      Main Energy Efficiency characteristics

                      Timer
                      • Placed between a light switch and the lighting device, the timer turns off the light automatically after a preset time.
                      • A socket outlet is connected to a timer (mechanically like a toggle switch) and is activated for a preset time only after the timer is pushed. Devices are no longer forgotten to be turned off.

                      Dusk
                      • A simple Dusk switch is inserted in the lighting circuit. For the advanced application with a timer, the timer is also inserted in the circuit.

                      Movement detection (PIR)
                      • Indoor PIR: A standard switch is replaced by a movement detector; lighting is turned on/off automatically upon detection of movement . For advanced PIR (office PIR and/or building automation PIR), heating/ventilation can be adjusted accordingly.
                      • Outdoor PIR: Outdoor lighting is turned on only when needed: upon the detection of movement but also only when the ambient light level is below a preset level. A light sensor in the PIR prevents the light from turning on if the daylight level is high enough.
