  • 1,024 discrete I/O, 80 analog I/O, 4 application-specific channels, 10 control channels
TSX PCI 57 45
  • 2,040 discrete I/O, 256 analog I/O, 4 application-specific channels, 20 control channels

They can both accommodate:
  • 16 racks
  • 1 internal PCMCIA slot to accommodate all of the memory extension cards
  • 1 external PCMCIA slot to accommodate the network card
  • Six integrated means of communication: Master CANopen, Fipio, Ethernet TCP/IP, Interbus, Modbus Plus, and Fipway
