Sarel is now Schneider Electric

Sarel, now Schneider Electric, is a world leader in the production of enclosure systems for physical protection, the production and installation of equipment for industrial automation, electrical distribution and VDI networks in all environmental conditions.

The brands' product offer includes ranges of industrial boxes, wall-fixing enclosures, floorstanding enclosures, racks and control desks, offered in a wide range of materials (steel and stainless steel enclosures, polyester enclosures and thermoplastic enclosures), along with switchgear, boxes and installation accessories.

Founded in 1956, Sarel quickly became the world leading specialist in sealed equipment and a benchmark in the electrical enclosures sector. Sarel joined Schneider Electric in 1984, developing its business with increased co-operation and integration within Schneider Electric over the following decades.

Sarel has since migrated to the Schneider Electric brand as part of its Enclosures offer.
