Charanjit provides technical consultancy support for HV and LV systems, through our power engineering consultancy team. An engineer for over 30 years, Charanjit has extensive international experience in the design, installation and commissioning of HV / LV switchgear and the specification, commissioning and maintenance of retrofit control systems, conveyors, inverters and air pollution equipment. He has worked with transformers up to 54MVA / 33kV, UPS systems, generators and computer/PID controller based plant automation/optimisation systems.
Notable projects include:
- Commissioning of electrical/instrumentation equipment for a coke oven plant and Machines in India
- Basic electrical/instrumentation engineering in Germany for a vacuum arc degassing plant in India
- Production of single line diagrams for most substations of a major utilities provider in the UK
- Development of control circuits and panels for On Load Tap Changers used with power transformers
