Steven specialises in power engineering and leads our team of Application Engineers who provide design advice and specification of HV and LV systems. He has extensive experience of HV and LV network design, specifying protection and control systems, network protection and load flow studies.
His recent work has included:
- Lead Engineer from installation through to commissioning on a major hospital project that included, HV and LV switchgear, automatic load shedding system and interfacing to standby generators
- Completing a full discrimination study for a major London data centre with an extensive HV distribution system and 33 rotary UPS units
- Design advice for a leading UK port implementing a new HV distribution network
- Specification of 33kV protection and control schemes for a bulk contract with a UK distribution network operator
- Lead Engineer on a HV switchgear refurbishment and replacement project for a major pharmaceutical company
- Lead Engineer from installation through to commissioning on a new build data centre project that included, HV and LV switchgear, transformers and an automatic supply restoration system and interfacing to 5 standby generators
