A critical blood plasma process has been upgraded and validated for compliance with 21CFR part 11 legislation to improve productivity and ensure a high degree of future proofing using PLCs, fieldbus, I/O and SCADA software from Telemecanique, a brand of Schneider Electric. The specialist consulting engineers Haden Freeman, a member of Schneider Electric's Systems Integrator Alliance, completed the project on behalf of Bio Products Laboratory (BPL) at its plant in Elstree. |
