Ask a Question

Can I have a pressure switch with contact instead of a pressure indicator on the RM6?

The SF6 pressure inside the RM6 tank is very low (only 0.2 bar relative). For that reason there is very little risk of a leak.

A pressure gauge can be provided if requested by the customer. In addition, a pressure gauge with contact with a nominal pressure of 0.2 bar and an alarm threshold of 0.1 bar or less is very rare except in laboratory applications.

This type of equipment is more expensive than the RM6 itself. Therefore the option of a pressure gauge with contact for remote signalling is not available on the RM6.
