With light level sensors, the system can be designed to take advantage of natural light levels and utilise only the minimum necessary amount of lighting, saving energy and money.

When the offices are vacated, C-Bus can be programmed to automatically turn lights off at pre-set times to meet the needs of the staff in each working area. Pre-defined or user interactive dimmable lighting levels allow increased productivity, and energy efficiency. Low traffic areas do not need to be permanently lit, using C-Bus occupancy sensors those areas are lit only when needed. If a staff member is working late, C-Bus occupancy sensors can automatically override any pre set program to provide safe pathway lighting.

C-Bus offers the flexibility to reprogram lighting groups to accommodate any future addition to the office space such as new office structures, partitions, and new open plan desk configurations.
