The XY2TP footmat range from the Preventa family offers a simple and flexible solution to this problem.

The footmats consist of two conducting layers encapsulated in a strong rubber housing, operated when a weight of at least 25Kg is applied. The modular system with a wide variety of standard mat sizes can be connected in a variety of ways, with typically 10 mats connected to one safety, making even large or extremely complex areas simple to install. |
Selection of the mats, edging strips, connecting cables and other accessories is made simple using the PAD Protect Area Design software design package. Mats and accessories can be manually selected and shown in a CAD like layout. However by specifying the dimensions of the hazard and stop time of the machine, a Wizard function selects the optimum solution and guides the user through selection of additional accessories to complete a parts list ready for ordering. |
