XCS Safety Interlock Switches

XCS Safety interlocks are designed to ensure that any guards or gates are closed prior to the start up of a machine or process, and to stop a working process if opened during running. Variations include solenoid locking devices which will keep a gate closed until the danger has stopped, espcially useful if a hazard has a very long run down.
The Preventa XCS range of interlock switches includes the following devices:

- Mechanical interlocks, with a separate key, with key or button release, and without locking, available in both cast metal and plastic body material
- Solenoid locking switches, with a wide range of operating voltages in both cast metal and plastic body material
- Coded magnetic non-contact switches in three body sizes – flat, compact and M30 barrel – and with a choice of pre-wired cable lengths or M8/M12 plug in versions
- A wide range of supporting accessories, including flexible and sliding actuators to simplify installation, lock off devices to aid safe maintenance, and dedicated safety modules with type approval to reduce the risk of choosing an incorrect solution.
